What a year it has been for us at Passionfolk! A few of our own highlights include:
Taking on several new clients and welcoming two new folk, expanding our small business to a team of six!
Kicking off 2018 with a bang as our Director Janet and Group Account Manager Chloe travelled to San Diego in February for the annual Social Media Marketing World Conference.
Running our own team conference in Lorne (with lots of great professional development… and creating a few memories to laugh at)
Hosting our first ever intern this year, resulting in a full time position. We will implement an official Passionfolk Internship Program in 2019.
Being able to contribute as a company to Geelong Mums and other charitable organisations.
Moving into our very own office in Newtown. It’s great to have our own space!
Client-wise, there’s been lots of exciting Passionfolk projects unfolding in 2018. Here’s just a few:
Lifespaces Group: whilst we manage all of their marketing activity, our digital campaigns directly led to at least two $1m+ sales - the best conversion we know of! We also helped them to gain international exposure, resulting in their Courtyard House being the most-viewed project on ArchDaily, the world’s biggest architecture website. So proud of these guys!
Lorne Hotel and MoVida Lorne: Working with both teams to on effective social media, design, photography and PR. Lots of (delicious, boozy) fun!
Bondi Smile: Facilitated a partnership with Lorna Jane and gained TV publicity for the brand via the Today Show.
Urbanbar Design: Created a new e-commerce site, refreshed the brand imagery and drove effective digital/social activity
VFA Learning: Aided in the launch of two new learning streams; the Diploma of Enrolled Nursing and the Diploma of Social Media Marketing. Chloe completed her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and now teaches Australia's first and only recognised Diploma of Social Media Marketing at VFA Learning.
Royal Geelong Yacht Club: Club marketing strategy and implementation, live broadcasted four media announcements including a major government funding announcement from former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
Festival Of Sails: Another great year of event leverage, marketing and digital/social communication, resulting in it being recognised as Marketing of The Year by Australian Sailing.
Barwon Financial Planning: new branding, new website, marketing strategy - we can’t wait to see the results of this!
Gelicious Nail Co: A new e-commerce website, a new, refreshed brand design, effective digital advertising and lots of communication
Brax Window Treatments: Marketing strategy, a new website and created new look advertising and communication for this iconic Geelong brand.
There are many, many more! We really love having the chance to work with so many interesting and varied clients and projects.
Here’s a little highlights reel showing some Passionfolk projects from 2018.
What a year! Thanks to our clients, staff and supporters for a ripper!
Please note that our office will be closed from 21st December – 7th January. All the best for 2019!
